Welcome to the World of eLearning

In recent years there has been a dramatic increase of interest in the Project Management Institute s (PMI) Certified Associate in Project Management and Project Management Professional (PMP) credentials. One of the main reasons is that the CAPM and PMP are internationally recognised credentials which are showing strong growth in eastern countries like China, Japan, Korea, etc. Major organisations such as Ericsson, Nokia-Siemens, SABMiller, IBM, AT T, US West, CitiBank, Asea Brown Boveri, and many more, have made the CAPM and PMP a part of their project manager s career path.

To obtain the CAPM or PMP credential from the PMI, one must demonstrate one s knowledge and / or experience of project management by proving one s experience and passing an exam.

The exam is based on the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK Guide ) 5th Edition published by the PMI. This includes the ten management areas of Integration, Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Communication, Human Resources, Risk, Procurement, and Stakeholders as well as the process groups of Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring Controlling, and Closing.
